Stitching programme
The Department gives training to three housewives in tailoring.
The Programme commenced 21/1/2015.
Palia Club
The Pallia club-commerce consists of 24 well trained volunteers (B.com and M.com students) who have undergone16 hr training in pain and palliative care at Anwer Memorial hospital, Aluva during October - November 2013. Dr.Santha S. is the teacher coordinator of the club. The club was doing its palliative care activities in association with Anwer Memorial hospital, Aluva from 9-11- 2013 to 31st March 2014. Every Saturday two volunteers each accompany the home care team of Anwer Memorial hospital Pain and Palliative Care Unit and engaged in palliative care service from 10 a.m. to 1p.m .The students not only assisted the team but also gained experience in this field through their visit

The Yi unit of St Peter’s College,
Kolenchery organised the Charter day “lighten
the lighted days” on 27 September 2014. The programme was
inaugurated by Dr. Thampy Abraham, Principal of St Peter’s College, Kolenchery
in the presence of Smt. Helaney M.Y, Dr. Indu Nair, Mr. Biju Paul, Mr.Jacob Joy.
A talk by Dr. Indu Nair on “Entrepreneurial Skills
and Young Minds” followed the inaugural session.
